Sakae: creates Exquisite Japanese Floral Hairpins
These transparent ornament hairpins, which Sakae makes, have a beauty that catches your breath.
Sakae started to make Kanzashi (Japanese Hair Pins) about 7 years ago. She was inspired when she saw a girl dressed in a gorgeous long-sleeve kimono. Sakae thought to herself “If her hair had a transparent butterfly decoration, her look would be perfect…. Why has she not put one on?” Then, she began to look for a butterfly hair pins at stores.
Hunted is an absolutely terrifying and scary documentary about homophobia in Russia. I usually don’t post non-Ellen things on this blog but I truly think that the whole world needs to see this documentary and that’s why I’m now sharing it with all of you.I wish Hunted was being shown globally. Especially now when the Olympics are in Russia. Please watch the documentary even though it can be really disturbing. Personally I was extremely angry after watching it.
WATCH. REBLOG. SHARE WITH OTHERS. SPREAD THE WORD.
Because Gay Rights are Human Rights!
This is what the Olympics condemn. Look. Look closely. This is happening and it will be happening after the Olympics are over.
I don’t give a shit about rainbow colored gloves.I wish I could make the whole world sit down and watch this
While the situation in Russia is dire, it’s hardly the only place to have instituted a law banning “gay propaganda.” In fact, as a map from the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Networkillustrates, eight U.S. states — Alabama, Arizona, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Utah — have laws banning the promotion of homosexuality in schools.
Reblog this because everyone needs to fucking see this.
The art in this movie makes me melt.
